For this purpose, he drew on a pool of freelancers who, depending on their capacity, were entrusted with the latest assignment. However, this procedure required a great deal of coordination. Which freelancer currently has capacities? How long will it take to create? Are customers aware of this? By automating the Shopify-Ordering and connecting a Airtable In the database, all these questions are now automatically clarified.

For this purpose, we first created a database of freelancers. Capacity and availability are recorded there and are constantly updated, for example when a new order has been submitted. When a new order is received, it is automatically compared with the Airtable database who has capacity. This person receives the assignment and provides a time estimate. This is synchronized back into the database. If there are delays in ordering, customers will be automatically notified.

Connect Shopify to a database

Once an image has been completed, the transfer is also automatic. The freelancers upload the image to a specific location and the order number is used to identify which customer it is. This automatically receives the image. What previously required hours of consultation and coordination is now fully automated.
